“We have to pay our staff every two weeks, but facilities often take months to pay us,” Charles shared.

The MN PROMISE Act grant provided a critical solution. With 65–85% of the funds allocated toward payroll, 1 Medical Staff Solutions ensured its team received timely compensation.

“This grant allowed us to stay solvent, keep our doors open, and continue employing staff who support their families and the community,” Charles said.
